The International Sports Professionals Association is the largest international credentialing service for professionals serving the field of sports. The ISPA includes a wide variety of professional occupations from, sport psychologists, physicians, coaches, counselors, accountants, agents, physical therapists, chiropractors, nutritionists, trainers, and many more. ISPA membership designates that this professional adheres to a strict code of ethics and has met the highest standards in their field to provide professional services to athletes and to sports. Our professionals serve athletes from youth through professional. ISPA is certifying professionals worldwide and creating a vast network of highly qualified professionals. ISPA issues the “Certified Sports Professional” Certificate for a professional’s given field. The Sports Professional Certificate addresses the need for a national standard of training and education for this area of specialization. Certification requires a state license or employment by an accredited institution and experience in a related field. Certification is renewable every two years. (You must obtain six CEUs in your related field.)
A Diplomate requires advance training and experience in working with athletes. Diplomate status is renewable every two years. (You must obtain six CEUs in your related field.)
