Edgar Tham

Edgar is passionate about helping people break personal barriers and achieve success in sports and other performance domains. As Singapore’s pioneer Sport & Exercise Psychologist, Edgar has worked with more than 40 different sports and performance domains (including music, military, business executives, performing arts) from the schools to world championship levels since 1993.

Edgar was the team consultant and traveling psychologist to numerous national teams preparing for the SEA Games, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, Olympic Games, Paralympic Games and World Championships since 1993. He was the Consultant Psychologist to the Singapore Team that competed in the 2005 World Skills Competition in Finland, Helsinki, and to several national athletes in preparation for the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in November 2005 and the Commonwealth Games in March 2006. His most active consulting work is presently with the Singapore Sports School athletes and Singapore Sports Council carded elite athletes and coaches.
